Nottingham to be partnered with 2014 winter olympic region
Nottingham is to be partnered with the Russian town of Krasnodar, earmarked to host the 2014 winter Olympics.
Officials from Krasnodar will visit Nottingham on Thursday July 23 to sign a city partnership agreement and to open discussions encouraging businesses from the East Midlands to bid for Olympic sized contracts.

Go ahead for improvements to The Meadows
Nottingham City Council has been successful in their bid for Government PFI credits for a major regeneration scheme in The Meadows.
